GBStaff were very helpful and we enjoyed having a pot of tea in the tea room on the top floor. We had hoped it would be a tea tasting but you just chose one tea. They kindly kept it open for us later than specified time. The beds were comfy and spacious and lovely having a balcony. Room service was good and they even asked if we wanted anything more.
The bathroom smelt very bad. It had a jacuzzi but there was not enough hot water in tank in bathroom to fill it up so we had to use lots of kettles of hot water. The bath then leaked all over the floor. Wi-Fi did not work in our room most of the time. Sadly as leaving we asked reception to book us a taxi which was 40 mins late and led us to being extremely frustrated. We did get to our train in time but only after driver drove like a maniac. He never once apologised. He then made us swap cars 40 mins from our destination. We have asked hotel to not use him as it has made us give a more negative score.

I can’t think of any except noisy next room guests, but that’s not the hotel‘s fault.
ININRoom size was very small. Balcony overlooked tin roofs. The room was below the Restaurant and there was constant disturbance of dragging of chairs and movement in the restaurant above.
