Thirlmere 4 Luxury Lodge at White Cross Bay Windermere

The lodge is in a great location. The lodge is modern and well decorated

The beds are dreadful. The kitchen equipment is limited which isn’t really a problem but wise to take scales and a frying pan

With children the use of a washing machine would have been helpful.

The property was brilliant. Beautifully decorated. Bath was lovely. Loved the double doors to the terrace. Excellent

The wifi was pretty bad. In the booklet it said to join to a specific network which didn’t come up on any of our devices. Had to connect to the park dean WiFi which was intermittent at best

There wasn’t a lot of utensils available and not even any ‘glass’ drinking glasses. Also the frying pan was a bit broken I recall. The mattress was too soft for us unfortunately. The pool on site didn’t have convenient hours so we didn’t manage to take advantage of that either.

The lodge was just as stunning as the photos - super spacious and had everything you’d need for a family break. It was definitely the best accommodation we’ve stayed in and felt luxurious!

There was nothing to dislike
