Good location, plenty transport options. Walkable distance to Plaza Mayor. Doors open with code, so you could never lock out yourself can’t lost a key and it’s very convenient.

The apartment hasn’t seen a good cleaning for a long time. Bathrooms and the whole place in fact smell unpleasant. It hasn’t been ventilated well between bookings. Fridge smells bad too. The kitchen has not been cleaned properly. Cutlery, cups, glasses - all had stains (not the usual from washing machine we all see sometimes) and not clean. We booked for four people, but sofa bed did not have sheets on it. No problem to put ourselves, but they have forgotten we will need it. Second floor bedroom is impossible to stand in it as it’s under the roof. You have to crawl to the bathroom. Everyone can hear everything. If someone walks, laughs or talks in the hallway you hear them.

The location was good

I was placed in a room that was already occupied by people I did not know. When I contacted the staff they were extremely rude and unhelpful. I was alone in a foreign country and I did not feel safe and the staff then blamed me for going to the wrong room when I had followed the email instructions and the code for the door had worked. If my friends were not meeting me later I would not have stayed. Incredibly poor service.

After reading a few recent reviews, I was a bit concerned about the apartment and amenities. I'm pleased to say that our suite was perfectly laid out for our needs (tall husband with no ceiling height issues-wifi that worked very well for the duration of our stay). The suite was cleaned once during our stay, new towels and linen changed. All of the appliances worked perfectly and the A/C was perfect. Apartment is located in a great area, close to shops, metro, restaurants. Accessing the apartment was easy and I found the Limehome team super responsive when contacting them through the booking.com app.

I think the only things I would LOVE Limehome to consider for future guests are a drying rack for clothing- the washing machine is great, but like other reviews, there is not really a place to dry clothes. The other thing is to do a review of the dishes and glasses in the suite- ours had 2 water glasses (one was cracked and then broke when I washed it) but we had like 10 different sized coffee mugs (so could totally use those for whatever, but still weird). There was only one bowl, but a ton of cutlery- so maybe just evening out that kind of stuff to so it makes a bit more sense?

The location is the only thing we liked. It is surrounded by bars, and it's within walking distance to major attractions.

Limehome offered a spacious and bright unit on the top floor, as this was what we selected and was shown on the booking confirmation. However, we ended up in a tight, dull, dark unit with almost no natural light on the 2nd floor. The windows on one side overlook a tall sidewall recalling a max security jail, with plenty of aircon units just next to the windows. I can not imagine the noise during summer nights! On the other side, the windows look over the elevator shaft! The hot water tank was not enough to last for 2 showers, and we were in 5. We feel we have been deceived as we got a non-refundable deal. These flats / units are owned by a corporation, and they don't care much about customer service.

The audibility in the apartments is terrible, it’s such a feeling that your neighbors are living with you
