A modern 2 bedroom seaside apartment

Great location and very clean inside Lovely new bathroom

Beds a little hard for us but thats to everyones taste

This is a lovely apartment in the centre of Hastings, two mins walk to the centre, a few mins walk to the beach and 7-8 mins to the old town. There is Tesco express just opposite the flat. I dont know what some people are complaining about regarding the location, Hastings centre is nothing special, it is what it is, but the flat has a good location within it. The access was easy, communication good, the two bedrooms face the backyard and are quiet, it is only the living room and the kitchen that face the main road, so its not as loud as some reviews say it is. The flat has a simple furniture however for the money it is what it is. The kitchen is well equipped, you can find tea, coffee, salt etc. there. .The owner was kind enough to let me leave my small suitcase there for a few hours after the checkout Overall it is a great value for money and I would stay there again.

Only a couple of small things, the bedside tables could be properly sturdy bedside tables and both bedrooms could do with side lamps, not just one.

The flat was very nice and modern, the rooms were spacious and had lots of amenities including extra heaters and travel cot.

Getting into the flat itself was strange there's an entrance next door for the key but there's a door in the flat that leads straight into the road so why not use that. The main downside is the area itself at night there was alot of taxis in the road talking loudly and security next door literally stood on the steps outside it sounded like they were in the room with us! Although the bedrooms are at the rear it was still noisy at night. The flat would benefit from extra locks on the doors for security. The room overall was clean and nice inside but outside looked horrible the windows were filthy.

The location was excellent all of the appliances were good too.

Bathroom not clean, Bath was dirty, Bathroom cabinet had old hairbands and empty soap bottles inside and the cabinet itself is broken. There are cobwebs in most rooms. There is an old front door in the kitchenette area which doesn't fit the frame properly and doesn't lock either and has a bit of cardboard jammed in the bottom which I'm assuming plugs a hole in between the frame and wall. The dishwasher was half full of crockery and cutlery which looked dirty. The windows are so filthy inside and out it looks like there is a fog outside. My wife generally cleans before we leave but as we cleaned when we got here and it is cleaner than when we arrived she won't be cleaning upon departure. There are no waste paper bins in any bedroom one bedroom has no bedside lamps and only one bedroom has hanging space for clothes. We will be coming back to Hastings but not to this property. We don't expect Buckingham Palace or The Ritz but we do expect a basic level of cleanliness, we were disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. All the appliances and plumbing were new and worked perfectly. The kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher, a washing machine, and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The location is great - just 7 minutes from the train station and about 10 minutes to the Old Town. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and there are cafés and a Tesco Express just around the corner. Highly recommended ! we would definitely stay here again!
