Relax @ Southfield

The location gives easy access to Teesside University. Rooms 1 and 5 are large. The carpets are clean. The Host provided free parking. The bed is comfy. I believe this property is ideal for a bag packer or student or a group holiday stay where you take the entire building [5 rooms with the lounge and open kitchen]. The property can comfortably accommodate 5 couples based on my observation.

The toilet for room 1 was stinking - probably due to smoke from room 2. On moving to room 5 the outer pink cover for the bed was reused by the cleaner; we knew this because we visited the room before the arrival of the cleaner. Hence we did not use the pink covering. The advert created the impression to me- you had your own kitchen. However, it is a shared kitchen with a shared fridge. The windows had thin blinds. Areas I suggest improvement: 1. The cleaner should not reuse the outer coloured bed covering but rather wash after each guest. 2. Towels should be properly washed at 90c [if not already] 3. Have thick curtains instead of blinds 4. Install fridges in individual rooms if possible. Overall, the property has great potential!

I liked the cozy and clean environment of the room. The kitchen was very well maintained.

The shower in the bathroom was not really worth it. The temperature always went down from hot to cold.

It was a standard house and looked very dirty from the outside

Very clean and tidy , well presented

No hot drink facilities in room only down in shared kitchen

3rd time staying here to rest after working late in Middlesbrough and I really like it. Close to the town centre and train station, clean and comfortable room, lovely clean en suite bathroom.
