GBIt’s a lovely big house which could be so nice if more work was done to it
Pool - cold, heating- 1st night heating in main living area not working. Called owner and they came out, but next morning no heating and no hot water. Ovens- dirty, only 1 cooking shelf per oven, no baking sheets, had to ask for them. Glasses - only 2 wine glasses, had to ask for more. Dishwasher not working, and must have been out of action for a long time. Water and layer of fat making it smell. Kitchen cupboard under sink - dirty and smelly. Hot tub - dirty Shower- door didn’t close properly and doesn’t drain well, hence wet floor. TVs - only managed to get one to work after spending ages to try and sort. Lots of controllers and no instructions.
GBHouse was dirty, over flowing bins including sanitry bins, blocked drains overflowing to entrance door, dirty furniture, many fixtures broken. Glass in pool caused injury to guest. No response from owner. Only help was booking.com Offered £200 back on £1800 2 night stay. Absolute joke. Such a shame as photos show what could be a stunning home.

Poor cleanliness, hot tub malfunctioning, hob broken, lack of cooking utensils, roasting trays. Sanitary bin not cleaned. All bathrooms had a very poor standard of cleanliness, cigarette ends all over patio. Shower in one bathroom was completely blocked so wouldn’t drain. Most tv remotes not working. Dishwasher broken. Property owner lied told me hot tub was new it wasn’t, said he would have the dishwasher either repaired or replaced, it never happened, promised to give us a refund, we’re still waiting.

House does need a bit of work doing to it, real shame about not being able to put the jets in the hot tub on. Also TV in the pool room didn't work

I saw that people staying in this house have disrespected it and there was a lot of broken items which is a shame as it’s beautiful place.

Not high standard of cleanliness, water leaked from upstairs shower into bedroom below, jacuzzi didn't work correctly, outside lights not working, one of the ensuite toilet didn't flush, septic tank in garden not fenced off with the area around it very boggy, drainage smell by entrance doorway, hob cracked and not working fully, outside fridges not working
