CBD Luxury Parkside Living 2 Bedroom With Parking

Location excellent for the purpose of our trip.

Please alert those staying ahead of time outside shoes not allowed as I found the floor downstairs cold under foot when only in socks or bare feet, I would have packed slippers. Also us oldies need to be told how to access a key pad 🤣

Kitchen utensils need to be upgraded as they flaked into food

Very luxurious space. We were allocated to Unit 2 facing the street and had two floors to ourselves. There was plenty of space in the living room to unpack our luggage if we didn't feel like carrying them up the narrow set of stairs. The living room, bedrooms & bathroom were all equipped with heat pumps (which could work as air conditioning if needed) which kept us very warm in the chilly Christchurch weather. There was parking available further into the property (although it is quite tight), which was much appreciated considering the street is packed with parked cars all day/night.

There was no signal to watch TV. Netflix is available but you need to log in with your own account. I guess it comes with the luxury, but any nearby restaurants were quite high-end in price. And taking a drive out to town for more affordable meals means paying a lot for parking (We paid $5.00 + $0.60 service fee per 30 min of parking in Wilson Parking!) unless you're parking after 18 00 on the weekday or all day on weekends/public holidays.

Net picking - rubbish big size could be big but the council bin was just outside and was handy .
