The key pick up was easy a d directions were good.

The apartment was outside of the bin area which was overflowing into the hall way. There was no kettle as advertised There was no TV as advertised The rooms had t been cleaned fully with socks and crisp packets left in a wardrobe The tables were badly damaged and loose There was drug utensils outside on the porch Only 1 towel was left for each room No spare pillows and the one provided was poor Not worth the money, not as advertised and should be taken off Booking.com

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had through Booking.com. From the moment we arrived, the property was in an absolutely disgusting state—clearly uncleaned, completely unacceptable. But as if that weren’t bad enough, the sheer unprofessionalism of the company handling the rental, and especially the owner himself, turned this into an absolute nightmare. The gaslighting I endured was beyond belief. The owner had the audacity to tell me—with a straight face—that he personally checked the apartment after the cleaners had supposedly been there. And then, as if I’m an idiot, he suggests that someone else must have entered the property between the so-called “cleaning” and our check-in. Are you serious?! This was surreal. I never thought I’d be put through something so absurd. And then, instead of taking immediate action, this man wasted two full hours of my time—two hours of waiting, stressing, and getting absolutely nowhere—just to finally tell us that he was trying to find a cleaner and would “investigate further.” I do not care about his investigation. That was not my problem, nor should it have been. My problem was simple: I booked a property, and I expected to walk into a clean, livable space—not filth and excuses. When we realized that nothing was going to be done, we had no choice but to book another apartment. And guess what? The owner flat-out refused to offer us an alternative accommodation. Just completely dismissed us. Unacceptable. Now my question is this: who is going to compensate me for this disaster? Not just for the money I paid for a night in a place I couldn’t even step foot in, but for the extra costs I incurred, for the time I wasted dealing with incompetence, and for the absolute mockery that was made of customer service? I also want to know what the procedure is for removing a property from Booking.com—because this place is exactly the kind of scam that ruins this platform’s reputation.

"Dirty place and a scammer owner"

I recently stayed at this apartment and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it based on my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a strong scent of mildew and dust. The floors were sticky and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It was immediately apparent that cleanliness was not a priority for the owner. In the kitchen, the countertops were grimy, with old food stains and crumbs left behind. I found dirty dishes in the cabinet, which was absolutely unacceptable. The bathroom was no better; the shower had mold growing in the corners, and the toilet was not properly cleaned. I had to take it upon myself to do some basic cleaning before I felt comfortable using the space. I reached out to the owner to express my concerns, hoping for at least some acknowledgment or an offer to address the issues. To my dismay, they were unresponsive and dismissive, making it clear that they had no intention of rectifying the situation. This lack of concern for their guests’ comfort is incredibly disappointing. Overall, my stay was marred by the unclean conditions and the owner’s indifference. I expected a welcoming and tidy environment, but instead, I found a place that felt neglected and unkempt. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere!

"Please don't stay here, especially families."

Firstly, I didn't like the pungent smell in the hallways when first arrived. Either sewerage or accumulated rubbish or a combination of both. I didn't like the dining table with a glass top, which was insecure and about to fall off. I didn't like there was only one towel between four people. There are no batteries in the TV remotes. 2nd bedroom smelled of drugs. 2nd bedroom bed broken. Excrement was left in the toilet despite us waiting half an hour for the keys as the cleaner was finishing off. Then, just to top it off, a toilet roll with bloodied pin holes where we can assume the needles had been wiped. We have photos and I'm waiting for a full refund as after an hour we booked a hotel and left. They have the audacity to ask for £100 security deposit in case of damage. Advertised as a luxury apartment.
