Rural Devon retreat in stunning Exe Valley.

Tucked in the middle of nowhere, this was a beautifully tranquil space that was tastefully decorated and had a wonderful atmosphere! Minimalist, tiny house vibes and we loved it!

Water pressure was a slight issue, no doubt due to the rural location, but waiting a little longer to fill the kettle by no means impacted our ability to enjoy our stay!

Nice surroundings in country, nice living space and loft sleeping great. Nice and quiet!

We were confused how to get there and went first to Exeter centre as there is a walnut house too. Finally realised it was out of town and looking back on booking.com we found address which was not in emails. But we got it and very happy at the end. Shower was not very powerful, could not have washed my hair under it but good for quick rinse.

Beautiful location, beautiful looking property, very friendly chickens, and have already booked here again for 2025

Really nice big shower but not enough water pressure so shower kept changing from cold to hot. Otherwise, we would ha given it a 10.

Comfortable cottage annex in rural location. Thoughtful owners had provided some lovely touches for an agreeable stay - particularly liked the selection of books.

Nothing not to like.

Roomy downstairs living room, bath, kitchen. Loft sleeping area was separate from rest of apartment. Small, but very useful kitchen.

Used post code with SatNav to find this property, took us to the house 1/2 mile before this property, had to use the photo on website and go farther down the remote road to find property. In the dark, this would have been impossible!
