Cosy 3 Bedroom Beachfront Getaway in Mersea

Lovely caravan spacious and close to clubhouse

It was muddy down side of caravan to steps but the weather didn’t help maybe some slabs if allowed to help as it was slippery

Facility clean and handy shops and activities onsite. Everything there we needed for a short break and dogs allowed.

The beds were uncomfortable. Mattresses and or base very soft and pillows flat. While some people are ok with this if you have a bad back it is not the best.

Lovely clean and welcoming property. Would definitely return and Waldegraves holiday park was fantastic for children and staff really amazing. Absolutely loved it and would return in a heartbeat.

Clean, amenities provided, safe, quiet , 2 minutes walk to beach , shops and pool. Excellent ambience.

Mattresses are really uncomfortable and need replacing with new ones . No signals of WiFi inside the residence, minimal WiFi signals outside in public places.

Fantastic location, had everything you need for a home from home stay. I have family living on Mersea so an Ideal getaway. Morning and evening walks up and down the coastline which is just steps away from the property! Beautiful views, lovely sunrises and sunsets. It's a lovely off grid feel, very quiet and tranquil. The owners were contactable and very helpful throughout our stay.

Nothing to do with the property itself. More to do with the Waldegraves site but...Site staff in reception didn't seem interested. Bought swimming passes in error, found the property had some and they refused to refund, telling me there was no-one around who could do it? Just didn't seem bothered in helping. Might have been unlucky but we seemed completely overrun with wasps, 2 of us were stung during our stay. May be to do with overflowing site bin area nearby at the shop/bar.
