Hera Classic Boutique Cruise

The actual cruise was excellent. The staff, the food and the facilities were all very, very good. Unfortunately, many other companies are providing / completing the same tour. Therefore, whenever you get off the boat, you're in lines and it's very crowded. Whilst this is not something the cruise company can really control, it did, however, distract from the overall experience. I was surprised that when the trip booked included all the food, that there was no water provided during meals. And no tea or coffee with breakfast. Each of these needed to be purchased at additional cost. Whilst I would expect and happily pay for alcohol, soft drinks and any special coffees etc., I would have thought that water and basic tea or coffee with breakfast would be provided.

I also booked transfers. With the company to and from the hotels I was staying at. These were not handled as well as the cruise. My main concern was with the transfer after the cruise, where we waited nearly an hour before the transfer showed up (after the scheduled arrival time. Then, after an hour or so. - we stopped at a tourist shopping center. This was purely designed for us to spend more money. We were shunted off the bus for half an hour. The vast majority of the passengers were very surprised and annoyed. I expect this when travelling on cheap tours around Asia. However, it was totally unexpected on a transfer between a cruise finishing and the hotel that we were staying at. I would have booked a private transfer if this was known from the start. Over 5 hours from the time the boat docked to arriving at our hotel, rather than 2.5 hours is ridiculous.

Dan our ship captain was amazing and very friendly. My entire group enjoyed our stay and I will certainly recommend this cruise to my friends. The activity planned on the cruise was very interesting and we got to explore HaLong Bay area in a great way.

Dan le Man is amazing. He is so helpful and caring. He helped us with all we needed. Made us feel comfortable and really ensure this trip was successful. The staffs was absolutely fantastic. You guys rock. I will be coming back and for sure will recommend Amanda Cruise to friends and families.

Very beautiful, intimate boat. Very professional staff Very good organization which allows you to have a very good overview of the bay and to do a variety of activities.

Our cruise director Hieu (Andy) was really lovely and very attentive to our needs, as we’re all the crew. The cabins are well presented and the beds very comfortable. Air conditioner works very well. The food is 5 star and presented so beautifully. There was way more food than we could possibly eat. The quality of the food was incredible and so very tasty. The drinks menu was comprehensive and Nghia and Antony mix a great cocktail and Gin & Tonic! Our trips to visit fishing villages, caves and to swim on a private sandy beach were just the perfect way to explore this amazing area of Vietnam. Having the whole ship to ourselves was such a pleasure and made the whole experience even better.

Our cruise director Andy oversaw every last detail ,he organised off boat tours looking at caves , cooking classes and tia chi in on the top deck in the morning. Anthony and Nghia attended to us leaving us wanting for nothing. There care was absolutely first class. Relaxing in room massage. The food was absolute fine dining. Way more than we could eat. Full bar with good range of cocktails. Amazing relaxing first class, you would not be disappointed!

Excellent hospitality by Manager Dan and team. Amazing ambience and great effort at making vegetarian food available.. other activities which included Vietnamese fashion show and bamboo dance and singing made it more interesting. Keeping us all involved during our stay was great.

Alex the Cruise Manager & crew were totally professional, the meals & activities were excellent & the vessel exceptionally clean, with full attention to every aspect of client comfort & enjoyment.

Had an amazing trip aboard the Amanda Legends cruise. The boat has just 5 cabins which provides a more homely, cozy feeling for those seeking a more personal experience. Andy, our cruise manager was instrumental in ensuring our trip was a memorable one. He spoke fluently in English and was attentive to our every needs.

I joined with 5 years old kid. I was afraid of seasick or the activities going inside cave, riding canoe might be too difficult for him, but ended having so much fun！Andy and all the staffs had been friendly and kind. Good was tasty and there was enough.
