La vista a la laguna.

El incumplimiento de su check in. Me dijeron a las 3 de la tarde y no cumplieron, eran 3:20 y no me entregaban, hubo tormenta y encima con un bebé y un niño. Mal.

"Nice hotel, friendly staff but be aware that is sits next to a SCHOOL"

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were picked up from the airport and welcomed with a nice and pretty cocona juice. The apartment was clean. We had a front view of the swimming pool and a sort of terrace in the back which was completely empty and half in cement, half painted white. It would have been nicer to have some furniture there or at least a drying rack to dry all the clothes because the small line in the bathroom was not enough for all the wet clothes from the rain plus the waterfall trip. There are fans in each room and AC but the living room did not have enough ventilation. The wardrobes were quite big with was nice but in one room they smelled a bit moldy, I guess it’s important to keep them opened when there are no guests there. Laundry service was amazing and we loved the breakfast, it changes a bit every day.

In general we loved our stay there. It would have been nicer to have a water boiler in the apartment, there was only a coffee machine but we are tea people 😅. Something to be aware of, especially if you or your kids are sensitive to noise, the hotel is located right next to a school. I want to believe we were unlucky because the two nights of our stay (Thursday and Friday) there were “celebrations” until 10 pm, quite loud and the hotel staff told us we couldn’t change to another apartment, our daughter was having troubles falling asleep, not nice at all. Also, in the mornings they use a speaker to address the kids and there’s some music, but that was not as loud as for the celebrations they had at night. The infrastructure is a bit old, needs some maintenance, not as it is shown in the pictures. The mattresses from the benches of the swimming pool were also a bit dirty.

"Good place to stay in Tarapoto"

I loved the palm tree salad at the restaurant. The food was very good overall.

Some furniture could be repaired or restored. My room was charged twice, so I had to ask for a refund…
