Tucan Suites Tarapoto - Hotel Asociado Casa Andina

Our stay at the hotel was enjoyable: it isn't located in the center, but with a tuc-tuc motorcar you'll get there in 5 minutes. Breakfasts were really nice - fresh fruits everyday, options of lactose-free milk available, eggs, cheese, coffee, oats, etc. In 6 days, we didn't get bored with it :) The staff was also very friendly and ready to answer any questions. We even got an early check-in on the day of arrival, which was a very nice surprise. AC in the room was great to have.

We didn't like the food from the menu at all, we ordered chicken salad and chorrizo pasta for dinner - maybe it wasn't the right choice, but after that one time we didn't order any other extra food. On the photos the hotel looks brand new, but the furnishing in our room was a bit run down, however that wasn't a big deal, we had a clean room with everything we needed.

The hotel was very clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay. the location was close to the main square but not really walking distance as you need to go up a big slope to get to the center. However, motorcars are available and are not expensive. I do wish it had an elevator to make it easier and safer for guests staying there.

Only stairs are available so that anyone can go up! A school is nearby, and they would use their loudspeakers in the morning, interrupting sleep or relaxation time. Also, the hotel was doing some minor construction updates, but it was not too bad.

Everything was amazing! People so friendly.
