Luxurious 4 Bedroom House

We were very satisfied with this Liverpool accommodation together with my daughter. I recommend this place to anyone who likes to respect the house rules. The accommodation was very clean, tasteful and cosy. No shoes or slippers were allowed inside the house, which helped maintain the high standard of cleanliness. Our room had a pleasant atmosphere and temperature. TV and internet were provided. It was a lovely gesture that tea making facilities were also available in the room. The bed was clean and very comfortable, and the double duvet was of good quality and the right size. The house provided a quiet and comfortable environment — the only noise came from outside when the window was open and we could hear people partying. The windows had good quality blinds and blackout curtains. I really liked the ceiling light and that one of the wardrobes had a large mirror. I could imagine having a bedside lamp next to the bed or a switch above the bed, but everything was still perfectly fine without it. The shared bathroom upstairs was clean, pleasant and fully equipped for proper hygiene. We were very happy with it. I didn’t look for the light switch by the stairs in the dark, so I just walked carefully down the steps. When we booked, I was slightly worried whether they would send the address in time as required, but everything went smoothly and it was easy to find. We didn’t meet anyone, neither the owner nor other guests. We also never had to wait to use the shared bathroom. We would be happy to stay here again, especially if we use Liverpool airport in the future, as it was only about a 15-minute walk from the accommodation. What I didn’t like: The administration was quite slow, and they were not able to update my phone number, even though I had provided the new one by email. I would have liked to receive the address on this new number as well. I also didn’t understand why the address was only sent on the day of arrival — because of this I was a bit worried whether they would send it in time.

I originally tried to contact the staff by phone, but they refused to speak with me. I was told I could only message them and they might reply. That alone was a red flag. I had booked the room for my sister and her child. I let the hosts know in advance that I would arrive earlier with the child, and once my sister landed after midnight, I’d briefly bring her to the property to show her the room. I made it clear that we may be seen together for no more than 5 minutes. Their response? A firm no – they warned me that if they saw both of us entering at the same time, we’d be thrown out of the flat immediately. Completely unreasonable and hostile. As a result, I had to guide my sister remotely. When she finally arrived and entered the building, she was shouted at by a man on-site – loudly and aggressively – accusing her of not being the person who was there earlier and threatening to call the owners to have her removed, even though they were fully aware the booking was for her, not me. All of this happened in front of a child, who was understandably terrified by the shouting and hostility. And that’s not even the worst part. After paying, I received a list of absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable house rules. You’re not allowed to use the living room. You’re not allowed to enter the building wearing shoes. You’re not even allowed to wear indoor slippers – you’re expected to walk completely barefoot from the entrance all the way through the building. Completely unhygienic. How am I supposed to know when the floor was last cleaned, or whether someone with athlete’s foot or plantar warts had been walking around before? There are three cameras at the entrance, and an Alexa speaker shouting rules at you the moment you step in. One of the cameras is literally aimed at your shoes to check if you’ve taken them off. The hosts are rude, unapproachable, and unwilling to speak – everything is done through messages, and frankly, I don’t believe they even speak English.

The property was within the area we were looking to stay, close to Liverpool John Lennon airport

It was NOT clear that we were NOT booking the entire property. The facilities were NOT to the standard we expected from a property advertised as luxury. The owner repeatedly barked commands over the home assistant technology. Coming from the property we own, I would describe this 'luxury' property as little more than a conveniently located 'prison'

House is beautiful and very clean. Bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful. Very safe. Lovely area. Close to airport.

It was nice and well looked after accommodation.

There was no mirror in the room, we had an early flight and I had to do my hair 'blind' Light around window, disturbed our sleep and unable to turn off. Very warm but windows only opened up a tiny bit , to stop people smoking out of the window I imagine, but still not good in a very warm weather.
