GBNothing, run down, vandalised key safe. No response from proprietor to calls, email, and message. Appalling customer service.
Nothing, absolutely awful handling of the situation, and no respect for individuals' safety. We're left stranded with no communication and struggled to find alternative accommodation at 6pm on a Saturday evening. City centre was overwhelmed with the half marathon and we were attending to raise money for the Air Ambulance.
GBNOTHING! As we could not get a response from the property owner for the lockbox access code.
The property owner did not send the lockbox access code, nor could we get in contact via numerouse phone calls, texts or messages through the site. Had to find a last minute hotel. Absolutely Appalling!!
AUThe owner did not give us the access code for the locked box. We tried to call but he hung up on us. We tried to call again and it went to a full voicemail box. We tried SMS and email with NO response. Had to go to another accommodation that cost us trice the money. We have not got our money back but booking.com are assisting.

Arrived at the property and it appeared someone had broken in and when I contacted the owner they advised me that they was someone staying there already and booking.com had made a double reservation. On the phone, Ethan agreed he would confirm cancellation with booking.com but this was not done and when I contacted booking.com to try and get a refund, Ethan told them I had refused to stay at the apartment which was an obvious lie. It’s now coming to two weeks going back and forth with booking.com spending hours on the phone and I still haven’t received my refund.

Ethan (the host) had been messaging politely, being helpful and friendly until I arrived and realised that the place was a wreck. No cleaning had been done, no bedding covers, no towels...rotten food in fridge. Empty bottles in the bathroom, broken toilet seat sticky mess all over the floor. I tried messaging and calling but no response. I didn't have the money to find somewhere else to stay so I had to go and buy bedding, towels and cleaning equipment. My son and I scrubbed the place and made up our beds. Ethan is a horrible host. I contacted booking.com and have heard nothing back no response, no refund, nothing.. So utterly disappointed 😞

There's nothing I like. I expect Booking to refund my money. I didn't go inside to sleep.

Turned up to the accommodation. No way to get in. After 45mins got some info from the owner telling us to basically break in the front door by forcefully pushing it open as key to apartment on other side of front door. Entered the apartment. Wow what a disaster. Not even cleaned from previous guest. Dirty beds fridge rubbish smoke detector ripped off the wall which made it a legal to stay. Stained couch bed. Lamp shade and pictures ripped off. Impossible to stay. Told to stay or come back tomorrow. So tried to get reasonable priced accommodation but at nearly midnight by then had no choice but to drive 3 hours to home. This complaint was pretty much ignored by bookings. Com as the only offer was a refund of 75 pounds not the 200+ paid for 3 nights. This was not our fault the owner should have made sure this accomadation was ready for us to arrive as he had already received payment from us. Absolutely avoid this place and booking. Com should be better at looking after guests complaints and refunds as it seems the guest have no rights to get their money back.

Everything, I want a full refund otherwise I shall be contacting a solicitor. Avoid booking this place as the host ignores your messages and the description is wrong about the area. Plus parking...what parking as there are no spaces not that you would want to leave your car in an area that looks like The Bronx!!
