"Classy rooms above a popular pub/restaurant"

One on the best hotel properties we have stayed in for a while. Tastefully decorated (seems recent?). Spotlessly clean, high end bedding and toiletries. Smeg coffee machine and fresh milk in a room fridge. A very generously sized room which, although we faced a main road, we didn’t experience any traffic disturbance. Some noise from the bar below (football, then golf being shown) but didn’t bother us and over relatively early. No problem parking and separate access to hotel area if you don’t want to go into the bar. Pre-booked for a Sunday roast which was outstanding and reasonably priced (good job that we booked as seemed very popular).
