The staff were all charming. The room was was very good - quite spacious with good room to hang clothes etc. Very comfortable bed and nice bedding. A very nice modern bathroom ... Really good coffee It looked like the whole place had been recently done up and it was done to a very high standard The restaurant was very good ... good menu and probably the biggest oysters I've ever had in my life!!!

Our room looked out on to a playing field (nice) and the garden of the pub which was unfortunately quite noisy, so my request for a quiet room wasn't really sorted out. However, the noise was happy people and didn't go too late into the night!!!

So much more than just a room above a pub; high class fixtures and fittings; big airy room and great en suite. Good food and helpful staff.

Beautifully decorated throughout. Our room was spacious with a view over the garden and cricket pitch. Staff were helpful and polite throughout our stay. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
