Villa Albizia, Chiang Mai

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Albizia, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The villa itself is beautifully designed, combining elegance with comfort, and surrounded by a serene atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Every detail, from the tasteful interior to the lush outdoor spaces, reflects care and thoughtfulness. What made the stay even more special was the warm hospitality of Jim, the host. He welcomed us with genuine kindness, was always attentive, and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of. His local knowledge and helpful recommendations added great value to our time there, making the experience not only relaxing but also enriching. Villa Albizia is more than just a place to stay – it is a retreat where you can recharge, feel inspired, and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful days spent there and can wholeheartedly recommend both the villa and Jim as a host.

If you book the Villa Albizia at Doi Saket, you will receive much more than just luxurious accommodation. You will experience hospitality on a different level. It'll feel like adding at 6th star to a 5-star mountain resort paradise. The breakfast, for example, is out of this world because it'll be prepared according to your personal taste and preferences. Absolutely delicious! Or the sticky rice with mango you can have lying on your sunchair by the side of the pool. The whole place feels like a Garden of Eden. It is ideal for nature lovers, sunset fans, bird watchers and anyone else who can appreciate all the love, good taste and diligent care that created a unique environment like that. The rooms are spacious and elegant. You will sleep like a baby and eat like a king. If you want to whizz around on a bike or a scooter, you can. Jim, the owner and manager, will see to it that you are completely happy and satisfied. Villa Albizia is likely to be the most beautiful place you have ever booked.

We really didn't like the fact that we had to check out after only two nights!

Beautiful property set amongst rice patties just 30 minutes outside central Chiang Mai. The gardens are beautiful and the room very spacious and comfortable.

Phenomenal stay - the genuine highlight of our 1 month in Thailand. And one of the best, in many years travelling. Villa is spot on, gorgeous, characterful, a little paradise. Perfectly presented. Owner Jim is exceptional, and could not have done more. In making our stay absolutely perfect.

My mother and I had a wonderful stay. The house and location in the rice fields is beautiful - the garden is exceptionally well taken care of and so are the rooms. Attention to detail everywhere. Jim was a wonderful host and helped us organize a scooter, prepared a fantastic breakfast every day and was just overall kind and attentive to all our needs! Thank you for having us.

Absolutely wonderful stay We had an amazing stay here. Everything was beautiful from start to finish. The accommodation itself is stunning – very well designed, extremely clean, and with super comfortable beds. One of the highlights was the gorgeous garden. It’s incredibly well maintained, full of lovely details, and you can enjoy a wonderful view of it directly from the room – very peaceful and relaxing. The pool was also fantastic – clean, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh and delicious, and a perfect start to the day.But what really made the stay special was the host Jim. He is unbelievably friendly, warm, and attentive, helped organize a scooter for us, and gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. Highly recommended – we would definitely come back

Gastheer Jim is exceptioneel, net zoals zijn prachtige villa met dito tuin die hij met zijn gasten met heel veel liefde deelt. Wat hebben wij genoten van de serene omgeving, de villa en zijn interieur, de fantastische tuin, het fijne zwembad, het exquise ontbijt, de heerlijke achtergrondmuziek, het mooie uitzicht over de rijstvelden, de zonsondergangen, de fietsen waarmee we de prachtige natuur en dorpjes ontdekten, en alle verwennerijen van Jim en zijn kleine team. Een heel groot dank je wel Jim voor je uitzonderlijke gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid!
