Not the apartment i booked had a phonecall from booking .com on the morning we were on way to go to to say boiler had broken and couldnt be fixed but when there a group of girls came out of the one i had booked knew nothing about boiler been broken so can’t understand why they said we were unable to have that one got put in another one at rear of building not happy i did message owners Sunday morning regarding this but they did not reply till the Monday we left and now it’s Saturday 27th December and still no maintenance deposit of £100 back

Smelly stairwell and a man loitering on landings constantly as we left or returned said he was doing renovations to building and living in apartment 6 and if we needed anything to give him a knock he smelt of booze , the apartment we had been given as an alternative on going to bed trying to sleep constant loud water noise down each side of the beds was at it all night drainage was terrible didn’t sleep a wink for the 2 nights was exhausted spoiled our Christmas stay and noise from nightclub Saturday night went on till 4.30 ish Sunday morning read in previous comments that other occupants had been left earplugs on bedsides but we weren’t left any

The location was central

It a was scruffy entrance. The apartment wasn’t clean. There were dirty glasses of water on the side, the toilet hadn’t been flushed never mind cleaned and it smelt of smoke/weed. The spare bedding didn’t look clean.

Safe secure parking both car park and apartment in central location

Semi finished, paper hanging off walls in the bedroom but bed comfortable, kitchenette well equipped and obviously being renovated to a good standard as lounge was finished. Linen clean and of good quality.

I was only told the property was up three flights of stairs on the day of arrival. We both had heavy suitcases and are 69 and 70 years old. We were given the wrong code for the lock box and couldn't get in, had to phone to get the correct code. The property had badly peeling and ripped wallpaper throughout and no door handle to the living room. The entrance hallway had decorating equipment in it, it seemed the property was about to be renovated.

Location was good, beds were comfortable.

Water damage to the ceilings, sofa bed was uncomfortable and shower was difficult to control temperature.
