The location was ideal for the town and the piece hall. Nice sheets and towels.

The property is in need of redecoration and the carpet and flooring needs replacing in the living area , looks like there has been a water leak in the property above (stained ceiling and peeling wallpaper), kitchen needs new worktop and attention to the cupboards, the hand basin needs replacing as it is chipped. Kitchen poorly equipped.

Bed was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect for us to walk to Piece Hall.

Workmen in our room on arrival, although the owner did move us rooms promptly. Used sponge on sink. Dirty windows. Couldn’t open windows to get air in the room, so very stuffy. The small gate in the car park didn’t work. Fridge wasn’t plugged in and we’d brought refrigerated food with us. Dirty spoons in the drawer so had to wash them before eating breakfast. The shower was either boiling hot or freezing.

How central it was and the style of the room was lovely, hosts also very helpful.

Only downfall was the noise, from 2am they were a group of people on the street arguing and it kept us up as you could hear it very clear along with any other noise outside.

Good location. Good parking facilities, hosts easily contactable. During the day when you don’t need access to lights and if you’re not bothered about wifi or TV this is a really cute little apartment with character features.

Unclean bathroom- notified hosts within 5 minutes of arrival in the hopes it would be redone the next day but told they didn’t know where the hairs & dirt had come from (there were long black hairs allover the bathroom and my hair is almost white), WiFi & Tv both not working (I’m guessing linked as a smart TV) main light in entrance way doesn’t work at all and light in the kitchen/ lounge was flickering non stop which then meant 50% of the lighting in the property was out of use with there not being a single lamp in the entire place (inc no bedside lights at all which is really odd) this is the fist time I’ve left a negative review in my life but this stay was genuinely unpleasant
