Crown Street Aparthotel 2

The location was great for what I needed. The flat was clean, especially the bathroom and the bedsheets but it does need a proper deep clean.

The photos in the as are NOT a real representation of the actual flat and the ad is misleading. The flat is in desperate need of a make up, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls and it could do with a deep clean. I’ve attached some photos of the current state of the flat. Would not stay here again and wouldn’t advise anyone to do so.

The room was amazing fantastic location met oliver and the cleaners who was fantastic would highly recommend 😀

Avoid at all costs, you have been warned. Absolute liars. Claimed i had damaged the sofa extensively in order to keep my deposit.

They kept my deposit due to apparent extensive damage to the sofa. Joe the manager said, I quote - "it's lots of it and we can't get it off. It looks like paint but it's not I dont think" They are absolute liars. They sent me a video of the so called evidence. See picture this is what they are claiming is what their cleaners could not remove, and they had to use a specialist restoration company , but could not provide an invoice for the work undertaken. Sections of the velvet surface has been brushed in the opposite direction to make it look discoloured. You can decide for yourself. I left the flat clean and tidy and doubled checked everything before I left. Joe the manager didnt contact me about this so called extensive damage until four days after checkout!!! SEE ATTACHED PICTURE THIS IS THE EVIDENCE THE SENT ME BEFORE ANY CLEANING OR RESTORATION HAD BEEN CARRIED OUT. THEY HAVE JUST BRUSHED THE VELVET SURFACE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO MAKE IT LOOK DISCOLOURED. Plenty of honest accommodation in halifax. Stay here at your own risk and be prepared to loose your deposit! Plus £75 fine for anyone visiting that is not on the booking. They are monitoring you with CCTV.

Beautiful apartment with excellent location! The staff made the effort to message and ask if everything was ok which I thought was lovely :) they were also very fast at responding to questions / queries,

The apartment was perfect! and excellent value for money we would definetely stay again! :) Only thing we would change is there were no cups!! so we couldn’t make a cup of tea, however I did message the staff about this and they got straight back to me and said they should have been there, as there were tea and coffee making facilities, so I think this was maybe just an error, other than this amazing stay thank you :)

It was central and within walking distance to most places

The fact that someone broke the main door setting off a alarm for 45 minutes at a little after midnight! I called to make them aware and was completely dismissed. That I still haven’t received my security deposit back! It being over priced for what it was and that the fridge is in a separate location from the kitchen. Peeling wallpaper, a toilet that doesn’t flush properly water coming out of the bottom of the shower. Tape still around the door from painting. Yellowing tiles from obvious smoking half decorated bedroom.
