"I think I have already done this it’s false advertising"

This was dreadful the pictures they showed on booking. Com was complete lie the apartment was a complete dump , it was in a building that was not completed an old building it was dirty felt totally unsafe , we opened the door and could not believe that they could show the pictures on the booking site and then the fact the place was really a dump this company needs to taken off booking. Com plus you should check companies before adding to your site We did not stay they this coursed huge issues as we had to find another place to stay To add insult they took £100 deposit in case of damages which was a complete joke as the whole apartment was damaged and still they have not refunded this I want my £90 plus £100 back today Please nobody book this apartment or any of the other they show as the apartments are nothing like they showing , this is nothing but false advertising and selling and something needs to be done about it

"Property needs some tlc"

I booked this apartment for a business trip and, based on the photos online, I was genuinely looking forward to staying there. The listing presents a bright, modern, well-finished space. On arrival, it’s easy enough to find, and one of the biggest positives is the secure parking just around the corner with gated access. For business travel, that’s a real advantage and something I did appreciate. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives begin to fade. The entrance to the building feels quite eerie and, if I’m honest, a little unsafe. It’s a large property and the communal stairwell feels more like part of a derelict building than serviced accommodation. It’s clearly undergoing renovation, but there’s no signage, no reassurance, and no sense that guests are being considered. Arriving later in the evening, with no one else around, the atmosphere is uncomfortable and isolating. First impressions matter enormously. When entering the apartment itself, it initially appears presentable. However, that impression quickly fades when you look more closely. Wallpaper is peeling away in multiple areas, with visible rips and edges lifting from the walls. The wall behind the bed looks unfinished, as though decorating was started but never completed. It genuinely feels like a project that was paused midway through. There’s also no wardrobe or mirror in the bedroom, which feels like a basic omission rather than a minor inconvenience. The windows are another strange and disappointing feature. New double-glazed units have been installed, but in order to close the blinds in the bedroom you have to open the new window first. Behind these sit the original window frames, which have been left in place. One of those original windows is smashed. Seeing a broken window frame inside the room does not inspire confidence in either safety or overall standards. It gives the impression of cost-cutting and incomplete work rather than a properly finished refurbishment.

The space and location.

I think the outside building was not great but inside the apartment was all ok. It was pretty noisy but understandable with the location.

"Value for money, great location"

Location for great - very central. Everything supplied including hairdryer, shower gel, handwash, washing up liquid, tea towel, sponge etc. Very easy access instructions. Felt secure. Very good interior glazing which meant sound was minimal. Very good heating.

Wallpaper in bedroom was falling off the walls. Temperature control on shower did not seem to work -either too hot or stone cold.

"We’d stay again."

Central. It was clean and comfortable.

With being central there was some outside noise from revellers but it stopped not long after midnight.

Whilst travelling to Halifax we received a call informing us that the boiler wasn't working in our room so they switched us to another room, which was absolutely fine, we didn't mind at all. When we arrived at the room it was absolutely freezing, the heating hadn't been left on for us arriving and it was an exceptionally cold day. We quickly put all the electric radiators on. The living room/kitchen area was quite small but fine for 1 night. After an hour the rooms weren't warming up at all. We still hadn't taken our coats off and were under a blanket. We were with out 3 year old child so I called the number I was given, which went through to Booking.com, I asked if there was any chance of getting any extra heaters. The lady said she'd speak to the host and put the phone down. My partner had gone to the shop to get breakfast ingredients and when he came back he said it seemed colder inside. I felt my sons face and he was freezing. It was getting late and we made the decision we couldn't stay there. We called booking.com again and said we couldn't stay there, we was with our child which worried us being so cold. We asked if there was any chance of a refund as we need to find another hotel, she said it's non refundable. Which I understood but under the circumstances, that it was unliveable due to the temperature could they at least ask the host. It was hard to hear her as there was a beeping noise over the phone and a dog barking in the background, she then put the phone down on us. We couldn't find any hotel rooms available in the area so we got our things, travelled to Leeds and paid £80 for another hotel room. I emailed booking.com to let them know we'd left the property and if they could please contact the owner about the possibility of a refund. I've then emailed booking.com again, we had a response saying they'd let us know, we didn't hear back, I emailed again and no response.

The shower wasn’t working properly. It was boiling hot even if you put it on cold. I nearly scalded myself. Been in the same flat 3 times and complained about it and nothing happened.

"A central location with good facilities was exactly what I needed and enhanced my trip significantly"

The location of the property was very central with excellent views. Everything was located close to the property including all the main shops, many cafes and bars, Halifax Minster, The Piece Hall, Bus Station and Railway Station.

Scaffolding surrounding the building was a slight negative. The building was having a facelift with some internal work as well but that also meant there was assistance on hand when required.
