Crown Street Aparthotel 2

The flat for the most part was really beautiful and modern looking. We were literally a 5 minute walk from the piece hall so was an amazing location, I also loved how attentive and kind the hosts were in making sure our stay was okay! The hamper they left for us on arrival was lovely too <3 I also really loved knowing my car was safe in a closed carpark too!

A lot of the sash windows didn't open and there was no blinds in the bathroom so having to go shower was a bit awkward because there is a building across the road and the bed was really uncomfortable but it does do fine for one night

Location was great. Aparthotel was clean and spacious.

Stairway was unwelcoming. Had difficulty gaining access initially.

Completely misleading pictures, place is utterly run down with peeling wallpaper, smashed sink, broken parking gate as well as laundry left in the washing machine, fries under the sofa and hair everywhere as if it’s not been hoovered. They also neglect to mention that although it might be noisy at the weekend because of normal weekend revelry its actually more than likely because of the constant homeless outside the building due to the two off-licenses one of which is 24hr. I can’t comment on how we slept as I have a 9 week old newborn and the place was so dirty I had to book somewhere else to stay.

It had really nice decor, comfy bed and nice lounge and kitchen area. Parking was nice and secure and in public view so I knew my car was safe.

Not related to the property itself, there were a few unsavoury characters hanging around the streets within the vicinity, I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here when it is darker at night. As I said not related to the property, more of a location / town issue.

The location was amazing

Be vigilant as there are some dodgy people around

Central location in Halifax. Well designed.

The window sills were very dusty & dirty, the microwave had not been cleaned under the spinning plate. There was a dirty tissue on the window sill by the washing machine.
