Woodsmill Quay Riverside Apt - Heart of York

Lovely property, in a great location, very clean & comfy beds, nice lounge area , fully equipped kitchen.

It was very dark, the apartment was very hot, there were two fans but unfortunately not very effective. The en-suite bathroom mirror light switched itself on & off during the night & we had no idea how to stop it.

Fantastic location and parking was the reason we booked. Very convenient although if car park is full its a struggle to park large SUV into corner parking space. The apartment was well equipped with comfy beds and sofas. The supplies like tea, milk and Toiletries were appreciated. Due to hot weather apartment was very warm but plenty of fans were supplied which really helped. I did have to make contact with a query and received a quick response. A great stay with lovely views.

Grest stay, just a few minor things. The shower sliding door has a runner missing at the bottom so the door kept coming off when opening it which made me anxious it would fall and shatter. Lovely original windows, thankfully bedroom window was open on arrival but we couldn't open living room window so not much ventilation in warm weather. Instructions would be handy. Instruction leaflet for washer/dryer was out of date so didn't relate to current digital model in kitchen so couldn't figure out how to use the dryer. Instruction leaflet mentioned forms in the living room drawer for cars parked in apartment parking space but there were none there if needed. We didn't have enough hot water for showers after running small bath for my son. This was easily esolved after messaging for help but this innformation on instruction sheet would be useful as we couldn't shower in time to go out for dinner after a hot humid day.

Needed a revamp in parts of apartment paintwork etc, table mats old and ripped. kitchen utensils basic no blinds or nets at windows just curtains. Floors and skirting dirty. Light fitting old and dull

Great location and central to the town centre. Quiet riverside apartment. Comfortable beds. Private parking for one car. Could do with a little attention to detail. Ready for redecoration, dusty in places, especially under furniture. TV too small for room. Had problems with hot water one evening but was OK next day. Could do with shelves in bathrooms to put toiletries on. Smell of weed in hallway from one of the adjoining apartments. Enjoyed our time in York but found the value for money a little over priced based on other central York apartments we've stayed at before.

Beautiful apartment, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very short walk from the shops and the riverside footpaths. Loved the views over the river day and night.
