Cheerful Studio Getaway/Garden/By Lake State Park.

The location was good.

Sheets and blanket were dirty and had stains, floor had dirt and hair, anything with a top had dust on it, webs in the ceiling, hair in the bathroom and more.

It was really clean and the staff was very kind.

May 2026. I had booked the studio and Brian called immediately to ask if i could switch the the large main part of the house. I did. Read on.

Unfortunately, bed bug (live) found in the upstairs main house bedroom while i was sitting on the bed. I hate leaving this review because Brian seems like a fantastic person. But I don’t think he realizes how bedbugs can destroy lives. There was white dust along the floorboards (likely diatomaceous earth to treat the bedbugs), and the typical dotted black stains on the plastic mattress cover. The live bug was crawling on the night stand.

The location was a great location but everything else about that property and the people that was running the property and also the people that was living upstairs or on the other side was bad

One thing is that I came from a long trip from Rochester New York to New York City just to get there to find out we have other tenants that's living there that's making loud noise 12:00 at night walking heavily in the house I spoke to them they disregarded my complaint spoke to the hostess he claim he spoke to them but nothing was done finally when ready to go to bed lights out water is escaping through light fixture right over the bed where my wife is sleeping disrespectful I have videos on what happened that night also police was present also if you do a walk-through the property that property is actually illegal the way they separated the two sides I would like to upload a video but it is not allowing me to so I wish someone would get in contact with me so I can further explain the situation at hand Thank you

Noise from house tenan during day and at night, we were woken up about 4-430am to loud stepping sounds and talking. The shower stall glass leaks, water on bathroom floor that was also in rug near the bed
