One of the sofas in the lounge needs replacing as the arms are sunken in. Windows need cleaning Wall in main bedroom has evidence of damp coming through with bubbling and staining - same on inside wall in the wardrobe of main bedroom. Canopy for frame above French doors either needs replacing or frame removing. Some curtains need replacing - stained on lining and looking worn. Lovely cottage garden but needs tidying up. Garden benches need cleaning and repainting.
GBGBWe loved the quiet location at the edge of the village. There were chickens in the street when we arrived! The cottage was cosy and warm and we enjoyed the under floor heating in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable with good quality bedlinen and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The view from the garden over rolling hills was very restful and from time to time cows would appear in the field over the wall.
It's not a criticism, but if you are tall, you will be aware that some doorways and beams are quite low.

GBGBClean very cosy spacious furnished with everything that was needed in an absolutely idyllic place. Checkin and check out instructions super detailed. Wifi very quick too parking just in front of property. Everything went 100% smooth.
All was perfect! I will return again. During my stay I thought many time that that cottage is an ideal place to escape and relax!
