The Railway Hotel Koyasan Pilgrimage Railway - Station Inn - Self Check-in Only

Die Unterkunft ist exquisit und direkt neben den Gleisen. Das ist aufregend, aber eben auch laut, wenn ein Zug vorbeifährt.

Was a lovely change of scenery in a quiet town. The place was lovely and clean and so fun to stay inside of a train station

Nothing, just be prepared you can hear trains incase you can’t sleep with noise. Trains stopped around midnight and we were also supplied earplugs

Cute room. Conveniently located a few steps away from where we get on and off our train. Comfortable bed. Great ofuro and bathroom.

It was difficult for us to get cell coverage enough to get online for all of the critical information on finding the location, instructions for the door code, no printed English instructions for the use of the microwave or hot water heater, so we couldn’t figure out how to get hot water until we experimented with the thermostat. We suggested to the managers that it would be helpful if they have English instructions poster on the wall next to the hot water thermostat, translations on the microwave buttons, the mini split heater remote control. We never figured out how to heat so it is a bit cold. Also, there was only one head covering, and we were cold at night. It would be nice to have an extra blanket for the bed so guests would not be cold when sleeping, especially since there was no heat.

Absence de personnel, absence de casier pour les valises (ils sont disponibles mais a une autre station!), logement pas tres propre (tache de sang sur la couette), bref un peu cher pour ce que c est

普通のホテルの部屋に見えて、駅舎に泊まれるという事だけでなく、至るところに「南海電車」が散りばめられています。 また、この部屋は高野山(極楽橋駅)へ向かう電車や、この駅で折り返す電車も見れます。 更に、近く(ホームの目の前)には寺社、駅前には不動谷川もあったりと、長閑な風景でゆったりとした時間が過ごせます。

鉄道ファンにとってはご褒美みたいな事ですが、24時前まで電車が走っていたり、場合には夜半近くまで保守用車が動いていたりするので、外で大きい音が発されるのが苦手な方は、備え付けの耳栓を装着したり、対応が必要かと思います。

非常特别的一家酒店，晚上可以去桥本的大超市买些晚餐。

Love the location - it's right next to the Koyasan-shita railway station. Might be a distance away from shops and convenience stores, but that's exactly what makes it a great place to get away from the hustle of city life.

Was expecting a small kitchen sink since there was a kitchenette but there wasn't one. So you would have to use the bathroom sink to wash plates and all. That said, that was not a deal breaker.
