The Railway Hotel Koyasan Pilgrimage Railway - Station Inn - Self Check-in Only

非常特别的一家酒店，晚上可以去桥本的大超市买些晚餐。

Love the location - it's right next to the Koyasan-shita railway station. Might be a distance away from shops and convenience stores, but that's exactly what makes it a great place to get away from the hustle of city life.

Was expecting a small kitchen sink since there was a kitchenette but there wasn't one. So you would have to use the bathroom sink to wash plates and all. That said, that was not a deal breaker.

Le Check in est trop compliqué il y a un formulaire que l’on doit recuperer à partit d’un lien à coller et ensuite moult onglets avec pléthore de questions… et ensuite il faut sauvegarder le doc sinon le Check in est impossibles ! En fait ce n’est pas un hotel mais un genre Airbnb mais avec procédure compliquée… je comprends pourquoi il n’y a pas l’option d’annulation… ce ne fut pas une belle expérience

We loved it here! The property is very quaint. The beds were super comfortable and the surrounding village was lovely and quiet. There are Shinto shrines nearby to explore, a river running down below, fresh persimmons for sale over the road and trains passing by to add to the atmosphere. There is no kitchen, but there is a fridge and microwave to heat up any food you bring. Everything was spotless and very thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. If you are coming by rail, some of the trains passing through from Hashimoto to Koyasan and back stop at this little station (Koyashita). If you are coming back down from your visit to Koyasan just get on a local train that stops (there are plenty, and they are all on the same line). It felt very special to spend time in a local village while everyone else raced past us! Don’t hesitate to stay.

Unique 2 room hotel, (we had the smaller room), self check-in on the unmanned Koyashita station platform. Excellent base to do a day trip to Koyosan and also one station from Kudoyama which is worth a visit. Train line is literally a few metres away from room, however noise was not really a problem as trains start about 6am and stop at around 11pm and timetable is about every half hour. Need to ensure you bring all food supplies with you as there are no shops at Koyashita.

Need larger curtains to block out the light. Beds were starting to sag.

Die Lage ist wirklich sehr. Man kommt vom Bahnsteig und steht vor dem Appartement. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf die Gleise. Das Badezimmer war sehr mehr modern im Gegensatz zum Rest

Wir hatten das kleine Appartement. Leider war die Klimaanlage lauter als die vorbei fahrenden Züge. Das Doppelbett war sehr klein. Wir haben wenig geschlafen.

The room is situated at a train station, and you can see approaching trains from the window. It's an interesting experience, and I was happy we stayed there, but if you don't have a car, it's pretty time-consuming to get to and from there. Very calm and quiet, except for the trains, but we knew where we would stay, and they don't run during nighttime hours.
