Unless we hadn’t worked it out, no tv channels only Netflix. No hairdryer, assumed it would have and didn’t take my own so take one with you.

Very nice little holiday cottage in the village centre, well located to enable a walk to various establishments offering fine beers and an exceptional authentic restaurant just around the corner.

Great facilities, everything you might need.

Steep stairs and roadworks across the road made parking a bit tricky.

Rebecca has put so much effort into making the cottage a comfortable stay. The property was incredibly clean (I’m quite picky when it comes to cleanliness and I was impressed by the exceptional standards). I think I had the most comfortable night sleep ever! There was so many thoughtful added extras, from hot water bottles and slippers to cooking oil and cleaning products. For a cheap stay I was impressed by all the extras that you wouldn’t expect to find in a budget stay. The location was close to local shops and it was perfect for my commute to work.

There wasn’t anything much to pick fault at. The lock on the door could be quite tricky to lock, it was a bit stiff but it was secure and i felt safe. It would be a nice touch if there was a little booklet with the wifi password and local restaurant/ attraction recommendations.

The renovation has been done on the cheap and it's starting to show. The paint is peeling in places, the front door doesn't shut properly. If you shut the bedroom door, you'll be locked in as reported by someone else, and the solution has been to stick some tape over the lock. The wardrobe is a rail in an alcove with 4 hangers. The bathroom is the worst with a lot of black mould, broken toilet seat and a shower screen that doesn't fit properly so you flood the bathroom every morning. It's been given a basic lick of paint and some knick-knacks for the photos. The yard was last cared for probably when the photos were taken. Had to buy hangers, clothes pegs, dishcloths, kitchen roll just to function. No cupboard space in the kitchen to put anything. Suggest the owner spends a week living in the place to see what it's really like and really needs.

Was a good location for where I needed to be.

There isn’t a lock on the bathroom, and I didn’t feel comfortable showering in front of a window that doesn’t have a blind, you can still see the figure from the outside. The barrel has gone in the bedroom door meaning we got shut in until I could find my tweezers or something to open it back up.

Absolutely brilliant location for Leicester Royal Infirmary The cottage was perfect for us just the right size and the added bonus was we brought our little dog
