"A great find!"

10.0

Super friendly staff, great food, lovely room with a good supply of tea, coffee, milk and sugar ~ unlike most, where they expect two sachets of milk and sugar to constitute enough for one morning! Also a complimentary bottle of drinking water. Excellent location right opposite the loch and an easy ten minute walk to the bus stop to go south to Campbeltown or onwards to Oban or Glasgow. Right beneath the beautiful Crinan Canal with beautiful walks along side it. All in all, a great find and good value for money. Axxx

"Very disappointing"

Location

The hot tubs were only one hot tub and had no water in it and the area was dirty and the fence was hanging over it and there was a hole in the side of it. The fire exit didn’t close properly and had to be forced to open. There was mold on the bathroom and an electric heater that was bashed up was in the room as the wall heater was broken. There was not enough staff and they served flat lemonade and had no other bottles so had to use our own. The coffee machine wasn’t working so offered an instant coffee for breakfast even through they had a big sign promoting their coffee. Also no plug in the sink. The place was very run down.

Staff all friendly and courteous. En-suite facility of Room 4 excellent.

Room 4 carpeting 'tired'. Maintenance required of coat hanger hook ( loose screws). 'Full Scottish breakfast' was poor in quantity and quality.
