The hotel is under new management and already the signs are very positive. The rooms were delightful and modern in contrast to the outside impression. Well appointed and very comfortable, our room included a sauna. The bathroom was spotless with a sizeable shower.

The outside needs an uplift to bring this hotel back to being a smart boutique style offering. The improvements thus far are impressive and a refreshed decor would make such a difference.

The bin hadn't been emptied. The TV remote was missing. But neither was a problem.

Staff and restaurant were absolutely fantastic and the views over Loch Fyne incredible.

30 rooms but only enough space for 10-12 cars. Given location, it would be impossible to travel any way other than car. Stairs inside property very uneven. Also lots of trip hazards, smashed or broken panes of glass and hotel in places seemed very tired.

Convenient and available last minute when our ferry was cancelled so we were grateful for the safe haven. Good meal in the restaurant. Friendly atmosphere..

The building is quite run down and in need of repairs and redecoration. Our rooms were next to a fire escape that doesn’t close. One room was very cold. The TV didn’t work. The beds had very old, worn mattresses with no padding on top of the springs. Our window rattled all night and the curtains were coming off the tracks. The toilet seat was falling off and the shower was coming away from its hose so didn’t work properly.

It's a good location.

This is really tired now. Worst light in a restaurant I've seen in a while. Could so easily be more inviting by turning the lights down a bit. Hot tub ? No thanks
