The staff in the hotel were friendly

When we arrived there was a coach trip that had just arrived and checking in, we were stuck in a queue of ignorant old people who were so rude and pushing me and my daughter. There were only 2 people on the desk which wasn’t enough to get them checked in quickly. When we finally checking in, we walked to our room. Our room was right at the back of the hotel, the room was clean but severely dated. The headboard was crooked, there was damp and the wallpaper was peeling in several places. On the information provided it said there was free WiFi, we couldn’t even find the WiFi to log onto being at the back of the hotel and the tv wouldn’t work and kept going out of signal. The mattress and pillows were rock hard and we barely slept. When we did eventually fall asleep we were woken at 3am by workers chatting noisily outside our room.

It was a great location and lovely staff

Parking at the hotel cost us £35 for two days which wasn’t advertised when booking (bit disappointing to not be advise of this upfront )
