Coral Gardens on Grace Bay

The location was perfect. The Somewhere restaurant was nice to have on property. Being located on the beach was a very nice amenity vs having to walk or drive to a public beach access. The room was everything we wanted… kitchen, 2 bathrooms, ocean view and they offered housekeeping every other day. The housekeepers do such a fantastic job!! And don’t forget the snorkeling that’s right out in front of Coral Gardens!! It’s a must see and do!!

The beachfront property is gorgeous and compact! The staff are so sweet! The reef is right there on the beach, just walk right in! We snorkeled four or five times so many fish!!! We had breakfast on the patio every morning where we could see the blue blue ocean! Great sunrise and sunset. 120 steps from patio, past a very pretty private pool, to the sand and turquoise chaise and umbrellas!!!

The lord might have chosen to make the beach a bit wider in front of the property but he chose instead to put the reef in that spot instead!!!

My wife, daughter and I stayed in room 4301 and loved it. Spacious, clean, modern, a great view, and easy access to the beach. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, responsive, and all-around great to interact with. The recommendations were great, the team was accommodating, and everyone was extremely friendly towards our family. I highly recommend renting a car for easy access around the island. - there is free parking onsite. There is also free laundry onsite and a restaurant which was convenient. Our favorite restaurant was 8-10 minutes away and called Seafood Hub TCI - my wife did not look up while eating. Not once.

I have no criticism for Coral Gardens. Maybe a few for Turks and Caicos overall, but nothing worth noting.

I loved it ,but I’m glad we rented a car because it was to far to walk anywhere.

there was a lot of drama from the bar on site at night,people were over served and loud ,arguing every night.

The staff and especially Bessma(front desk reception) was friendly, helpful and even helped us with making reservations for our excursions. Bight Reef(best reef) right in front of the hotel.

Room 2312,is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. I was told that this is a "boutique hotel" which are actually privately owned units/residences. Rm 2312 is dated, drapes in living room were coming off & not even attached on one side, upholstered club chair had a nail sticking out of top side and ripped my husband’s shorts as he was walking behind it to shut broken drapes.Skillets were old, spatulas and cooking utensils were old, cheese grater broken, furniture was dark, beat up, dusty & dated, and lighting was so dim and lamp in living room not even connected to a nearby outlet.The bed pillows were old, cheap, lumpy & uncomfortable (I recommend you bring your own), floors were filthy(my husband walked barefoot when we first arrivedand his feet were completely black), Sliding glass windows in living room and master bedroom were smeared and filthy, glass table top was filthy w fingerprints, The safe in our room did not work, so we were told to use other safe in 2nd bedroom, which also didn't work and were told they couldn't get batteries to get it working. My husband had to complain that it would be ridiculous for us to have to take our valuables to beach or any where we went, because we had no operating safe. The manager finally went out and purchased a new safe for our room(at least that). .For what we paid, Unit 2312 (we stayed 1 week) was over priced. My recommendation is to avoid renting room 2312. The other units in Coral Gardens complex were updated, light, well maintained and cleaner looking than rm 2312. The individual owner who owns this rental clearly needs to maintain furniture, deep clean his unit, fix drapes & purchase new kitchen cooking items. I would have gladly spent the money on the other nearby rooms that Coral Gardens offered, great place as long as you avoid Rm. 2312.
