Hyvä että oli jääkaappi-pakastin ja vedenkeitin. Sai hyvin täten syötyä aamupala huoneessa.

Olisi hyvä jos olisi ollut mikroaaltouuni tai liesi kattiloineen ja paistinpannuineen käytössä. Ja astioita olisi saanut olla. Viinilasit oli kyllä : )

The location was great, charming building right in the amphitheatre

Weirdly inhospitable place to stay- WiFi didn’t work for the whole time we were there, no cups plates and cutlery in the kitchen (they are locked in a cupboard not for guest use). When we raised the WiFi issue nothing was done- it was clear this property is managed remotely. The door to our room was frosted glass meaning when other guests turn the hall light on at 2am your whole room illuminates. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There are so many lovely places to stay in Lucca, probably pick somewhere else even for the price

Una experiencia pésima en todos los sentidos. Nos sentimos completamente estafados. No avisan de que hay que subir unas escaleras muy empinadas para llegar a la habitación, y cuando el checkin es a las dos y hace 38 grados fuera, ponte a subir maletas!!! Nada apto para personas mayores ni niños. Además no funcionaba el aire acondicionado, solo agua fría para ducharse, el cabezal de la ducha roto, los colchones sucios, el Wifi va a pedales, olor a rancio....al no funcionar el aire acondicionado, tuvimos que abrir la ventana y soportar el ruido de la calle y los mosquitos, apenas dormimos las dos noches que estuvimos.

Y lo peor de todo, la atención al cliente!!! Toda comunicación es por Whatsapp, y cuando ya insistes en hablar con alguien, la respuesta es absolutamente patética y nada profesional. Les da igual que tu estés de vacaciones, no entienden que no quieres perder horas de tu tiempo de ocio en resolver SUS inconvenientes. NO solucionan, NO se disculpan, NO atienden a sus clientes. Hacer caja, y ya!!! No lo recomiendo PARA NADA!!!

The location is great and the double glazed windows block out the outside noise. The aircon is a little loud but cools the room quickly.

It took four days of contacting the staff every day to get the wifi fixed. Once they replaced the modem it worked but there is limited reception in the top floor bedroom. There is a shared kitchen and dining area with a fridge but there isn’t any dinnerware or cutlery so the space is practically useless apart from storing wine in the fridge, unless you bring your own. You also can’t sit at the table as the stools are too high. I stayed at this location for a week and as much as I enjoy eating out, I don’t want to eat out 3 times a day. So if you’re similar and staying in Lucca for more than a few days, this might not be the place for you. Also, as others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and narrow. If you have mobility issues and/or are traveling with large/heavy luggage the stairs are difficult. I was travelling solo with a roadbike and getting up and down was no easy feat.

Property was close to everything

The shower needed cleaning. The room wasn’t as nice as pictured. The aircon was noisy and struggled to cool the room.

The location was perfect!

The door to the room had windows?! They were tinted but still, shadows in the hallway were visible and if others turned on the hallway light we would be rudely woken up by this. The wifi also did not work.

The location is great, backing onto the anfiteatro piazza. Characterful. Huge room. Decent shower.

Perhaps I didn't notice the warning about the stairs, but be aware that it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The stairs were really steep and quite shallow. Stairs are from street level to the rooms and therefore unavoidable. Would be v difficult with larger luggage, and no one is available on site to help. Handrail was helpful. Didn't like total lack of any personal interaction. The key was accessed through a lockbox. No staff anywhere. I was having issues with the online forms at first and tried to call several times, but there was no answer. You'll need to fill in a long form online and sign up to a €150 deposit in case of breakages or a non returnable €30 'waiver' before you can get the code for the key. It was cheap and characterful, but I probably wouldn't choose it again.

Very poor experience. I use booking to have a smooth process. This accommodation was not smooth. I had to fill out many forms and evrrything was very complex and not intuitive. It took me long time to understand. Also checkin info was given super late had to write 3 mesaages and called 3 times. When i called there was an answering machine saying that i am callong outside work times... Eventhough it was within the working hours. Also wifi didnt work. Booked this place especially for wifi. I feel like wanting my money back... Very dissatisfied.
