It seemed that the kitchen facility had been reduced so that the fridge and some wine glasses remained full stop it had the appearance of removing the facility to prepare food have been made by the owners . It would have been a lovely facility where we could have met other flat dwellers and prepared food with them or on our own and made the whole experience much more enjoyable .

Would just advise those with mobility issues or large luggage to be aware there 3-4 flights of stairs (first flight very narrow)

It’s so close to the Piazza Anfiteatro. The room was big and well heated. Once I realized hoe to set the shower temperature it worked fine. I had good chat by WhatsApp with the friendly staff. Because I didn’t like to use my CC for €2.50 city tax and got a solution.

I can’t recommend this step staircase in case you are drunken. Otherwise it’s not a problem, there is light enough.

The location is really nice and the room was clean and nice.

The room was really clean and well maintained but the bed is thin and uncomfortable, the double bed is actually 2 twin beds pushed together. My first night there was nice but the next day, after exploring the city, I went back to the room around 15:00 to take a shower. There was no running water. I messaged the staff and asked if there was a problem, they said the water should be back on in a few hours so I went out again. Came back after dinner, still no water. I had to go to the supermarket and buy bottled water to wash my face and brush my teeth. Couldn’t flush the toilet either. The next morning there was still no water so I again couldn’t take a shower. I messaged the staff again and this time they said they would send someone over to check. In the afternoon there was thankfully water again. Not the end of the world, but it is annoying to pay for a place and not have access to running water for 24 hrs. They didn’t offer any remedy for this.

The accommodation is in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The place itself was comfortable and perfectly suited for my 2-day stay. I stayed in the TRIONFO room, which was cozy, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I particularly appreciated the option to make tea, which was especially nice during the cold January weather. The room’s door is glass-paneled, which might be distracting due to light coming in from the corridor when others use the stairs leading to the rooms. However, this wasn’t an issue for me, and I couldn’t hear any noise from the neighboring room at all. Communication was seamless, and I received all the necessary information in advance. Check-in was also flexible, which made my stay even more convenient. Overall, I can highly recommend this place for a short stay of a few days.

The short staircase leading to the room is a bit steep and narrow, so carrying a heavy suitcase could require some extra effort. However, it wasn’t an issue for me, as I only had a backpack.

It is indeed remarkable that the location is actually inside the ancient Amphitheater that dates back from ancient Roman times! It is very impressive to get to stay inside this historical building.

I cannot think of anything that I did not like. Everything was absolutely as I expected, and there is not a single thing that I would improve.

The style of the place is done nicely and the location is great.

We stayed for a week and haven’t had anyone coming by to clean the room a bit or just give fresh mugs for tea or anything. Towels you don’t really need but to use the same mug 6 days is a bit much. Despite that the door has no curtains which shows the hallway light and the other rooms came in often in the middle of the night drunk. The room across us was so drunk he thought our room was his and tried to get in about three times pretty aggressively. With a bit more of a solid entrance door things like this would be fixed.
