Blackstone Walk - Fabulous Houses with Parking

The furniture was broken the night stands are broken. And there was cobwebs on some corners and in the bedrooms lightning

Great location within minutes of tram stop and walking distance to Station and city centre

Place needs a little bit of attention but nothing major

We liked the location of the house. The house was modern and very clean. The bathroom was clean and modern. Check in was easy using the keybox. We didn't go outside as we visited in November, but the outside area looked well equipped and comfortable. The communication we had from the managing company was friendly and responsive

1) Kitchen utensils 2) Uncomfortable Sofa 3) Broken Beds 1) I visited with 3 other members of my family, and for us the kitchen was very poorly equipped. For example, the house provided only: * 2 mugs * 2 large and 1 small glass tumblers So the prospect of all having a cup of tea was out of the question. There were also only * 3 forks So when we ate breakfast, we had to share a fork between two of us. There was also a coffee machine which was a nice provision, but as no pods were provided it was useless. There were no wine glasses or flutes which I appreciate is a desirable rather than a must but it would be nice to see as these can be picked up for a few quid. 2) The sofa is possibly the worst sofa I have ever sat on in my life. It's obviously very difficult to capture through pictures alone, but the one I have included does show the various lumps and lack of padding. My guess is that this sofa used to be a sofabed (as mentioned in previous reviews) and judging by the big wood screws in the side it's been turned from an uncomfortable sofabed into an uncomfortable sofa. 3) All of beds have broken slats. By moving slats from the foot of the bed to the middle we were just about to get the beds to support our weight, but they're all about 1-2 broken slats away from being unusable. It's a real shame because the mattresses are actually quite good, which is Other thoughts: While we were aware of the £200 deposit, it was still an inconvenience. Do be aware of this before booking. The managing company also wanted the full names of all the guests and a photo of my driving licence so be prepared for this. The provision in the house looks as through all the attention has been given to making the house "look" good rather than "feeling" good to live in. It's a real shame because for the sake of a few hundred quid this property could be absolutely brilliant.

Location and parking, easy access to house. Fairly clean and spacious.

I didn't like the sofa, large spiders, dirty oven tray, locked cupboard in bedroom, chipped walls.

Location was great - easy walking distance to the train station and tram and buses easily accessible. The house has ample cooking utensils and crockery with a dish washer and washing machine.

Unfortunately the house has the world's most uncomfortable couch! An upgrade to the furniture in the living room is long overdue (or even a few cushions would help).

Great location, only a 10 minute walk into the city centre

The house was very tired and a lot of things need replacing - chairs and the sofa. The walls are really scuffed up and need a paint. In general the house needs a bit of love and money spent on it. I don’t think it looks like the pictures as they were clearly taken when it was new and fresh.

Location was perfect, check in was easy, parking was handy. The rooms were nice and the whole place was ideal for our weekend
