Some ideas are looking a little tired but everything was lovely and clean

The location was great on a lovely street.

The house was utterly rotten, falling to pieces, very unclean, thread bare bedding, hairs in bed, toilet leaked all over floor when flushed, scruffy shower, stains all over sofa and would never be comfortable for 10 people. Owner not willing to accept the issues or provide a partial refund. Definitely not a perfect getaway. I never usually complain about anything but this is not acceptable.

Great service and location

Slight issue with key collection but sorted immediately.

Was a nice house but when someone is paying to stay general cleanliness and all amenities should work. Hot tub was nice and beds were comfy.

On arrival found fag ends all over the garden which I had to pick up as I didn't want to get the blame. Under every bed was thick with dust, kitchen cupboards were filthy, had to wash everything before using. Main oven, grill and all hobs didn't work and I had previously informed the host I was cooking a meal. Food got wasted as couldn't cook it and had to pay for a takeaway away which was annoying added expense. Floors were filthy also. Both bathroom taps were very lose and nearly coming unattached. Main bathroom shower floods. NO garden table and chairs. And a bucket full of dog poo bags in the garden an dirty socks. Felt embarrassed to be honest. Yes it's a lovely house but the standards really let it down. Feel I have been ripped off.

Location

Where to start? Dirty fridge Full ashtray behind headboard, even tho apparently it's a non smoking property. Broken window handle in bathroom. Bathroom door that didn't close. Bin drawer that didn't close. No tea towels 1 dishwasher tab! No cleaning materials. Whilst accommodation could apparently take 8, only 5 plates. Not enough glasses (left 4 to help out) Seeping toilet in bathroom on flushing. Black mould in same bathroom, and rotten back splash for sink. Wobbly tap in en suite bathroom. Broken/unusable velux blinds. Grubby carpets Empty sandwich packet under bed in 1st bedroom No outside table/chairs for smoking area as advertised. Didn't dare try the hot tub due to the dodgy looking brown smears on the side. Piece de resistance, 7 chicken drumsticks and some foil wrapped corn on the cobs left on the bbq. So Max 1 star for whole property-and that was to do with the location!

It was in a nice area and close to our family & friends for us to visit.

The property was not clean, oven dishes not been cleaned, shower drainage blocked up, water wasn’t draining so had to unblock it, bathroom bin full and toilet brush dirty. Handles broke on doors and wardrobe doors, sweets under bed and a sock! Medication in a cupboard easily reach if children, cobwebs everywhere, and duvets were terrible and badly stained (if I seen them before we were leaving we wouldn’t have stayed). Damp in bathroom, cupboards and back of sink affected.
