Mahout Resort Wayanad - An Experiential Jungle Stay with Waterfall

Food was good but expensive - everything else was not great

This list could go further... 1) No wifi in the property 2) Ticks in the bed 3) The extra bed was horrible 4) No running water 5) No taxi reached property

Ambience from the room was very lovely viewing the mountain and small fall. Room size was adequate. Room service was good. All manager and staff boys was very helpful.

Wifi was not available in the room. Mobile network was very feeble. No communication could be done from the room to the reception. Route to the hotel was horrible upto 3 kms. At night you would not be able to go to the market.

Food was good

No proper maintenance, no games, no activities

Nice resort. Good room and facilities.. Staff were very nice. Did all the work with a smile. Good food also. Adjacent waterfall is a bonus. On the whole a very good memorable experience. Suggestions: provide mosquito net protection to windows. Provide cushions to cane furniture, as sharp end's are hurting and may tear the clothes. Also some spoken English training for staff will help in communication. Road from parking place to resort needs improvement. I don't know who is responsible for it.

It’s next to a jungle and a water body. In rainy season it will be great. The property is large. Rooms are big. The people are very nice and helpful. U would definitely go back for them.

The rooms were not clean. Bathroom didn’t even have a room freshner. Windows had cobwebs. Bed linens were ok but blankets were not that great.
