The size was good, and it was clean.

Large hole in bedroom ceiling which left the room smelling damp, plus constant beeping of smoke alarms. Only 4 teabags when there were 6 people staying. Freezing on arrival.

We had to ring the host for the code to the lockbox 20 minutes after we tried to access the property - at 9pm. Surely the code should have been sent at a more reasonable time.

Huge problem with mould/mildew in the main bedroom - wallpaper lifting off walls with the damp. It took a while to work out the shower as well. Property is very dated and in need of a facelift.

Living room is nice

In the main bedroom there’s a leak from the ceiling. Leaking all night, it is close to elctrical socket as well. Not safe for guests. According to the owner there is a leak from outside of building.

The black mould in the main bedroom was really bad. Property also had a really bad smell of damp. Its pretty obvious how bad black mould can be. Until that issue with damp is rectified, the property should not be rented out. Especially for £240 per night! Not one to normally moan but that can be a potential health hazard, especially to people with lung problems etc and cannot go unchallenged. The sofas were also pretty terrible. The back on one of them was loose and was quite clearly broken which meant you couldn’t sit comfortably. Photos are extremely deceiving for the whole property. Would like a full refund.

Spacious and very clean, lovely touches with the chocolates, milk and tea & coffee/biscuits. Abundance of spare quilts and towels as well.
