Pittville Student Village in Cheltenham

I was facing a very noisy road from 6am-10pm. Could never enjoy the room.

Location was great first me. Nice towels.

The room was very dirty, gritty floor full of hairs in bathroom and on bed. Sheets looked dirty. Bed uncomfortable and had disgusting worn out filthy lumpy pillows and a sheet thrown on a rubber mattress. I had to sleep on half the duvet and use half to cover me. Very basic, dated bathroom with Bugs in bathroom so had to get spray to rid 7 spiders living behind lights and around window and shower. Doors slamming all night long and smokers were below my room filling it with smell of cigarettes. Rubbish stacked outside rooms. Communal hall ways filthy as was the old metal staircase. I was extremely disappointed as it was far from cosy stay advertised sadly.

Very convenient for the Pittville Pump Rooms. Lovely hot shower. Although there was no parking on site it was only a 10 minute walk to the park and ride car park. There is a convenience store across the road where you can buy coffee and snacks.

It was unclear where the reception entrance was and where I should park to collect key. The key card did not work and I had to call to get the staff member to come over. I had to wait while she sorted out the key problem before I could get on with my day.

Location was perfect for my work commitment

The location was great! 20 minutes bop to the city centre and a 5 minute walk to the racecourse. The room was spacious and plenty of storage spaces as well. I actually liked that there was space under the bed to store more things. It is also very secure. Security all around the building and a 24/hr reception as well so you always felt safe.

The facilities. The kitchen was not accessible so there was no way to cook your hot meals or a kettle to boil water for a cuppa. This isn't a big issue itself but I stayed here for 2 months so it was quite difficult.
