Great having hot plate, sink, fridge, microwave

Would have been great if room had been cleaned BEFORE I arrived. Not much point having a hot plate if there are no pans/utensils to cook with.

The room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful

There were no curtains in the room when I got there and the shower was full of spiders

Generaly nice student studios available out of term time. Fully self-contained. Despite it being unclean, I had a generally good week and felt at home overall.

Considering the element of price that was for cleaning was £90. I expected it to be much cleaner. Dried toothpaste in the bathroom sink. Half used shower gel in the shower. Grubby kitchen sink. Dirty fridge and a stinking bin full of old food directly outside the door to the studio. Ooh, and no coffee cup or glass to drink from until I complained. I was expecting better, to be honest. Whilst the property is probably ideally situated for the University its actually a 25-minute walk from the town centre, not central, as described.

Bed was very comfortable.

On arrival, I was taken to my room that was ‘ready’ for me. In the bathroom there were soiled towels, unclean shower & toilet and toothpaste & beard trimmings in the sink. The floor was covered in crumbs. There were no utensils in the kitchenette at all despite this being included in the price. The bedsheets were smelly and stained. The room stunk of curry. After moving rooms I had to return to the reception 3 times to collect/request: bedding, sheets, towels, toilet roll & kitchen utensils. Therefore I was not settled in my room until 7.30pm after arriving at 3pm
