Riad Lumières du Sud

The Riad was beautiful and typical. Momo, the host, was super kindhearted, a lovely person who had been super helpful also for outdoor activities. We had breakfast there and it was fair for the price we paid (6€ each). The Riad is a 10min walk to every Marrakech Medina attractions.

The shower wasn’t working very well but still enough. The windows weren’t working so in mornings you could hear some noise.

Mono is a super host. He’s very kind and he helped us a lot with his advise. The riad is very nice, located in the center of the city and has a very beautiful terrace where you can relax and enjoy the view. We walked around every attraction and enjoyed a lot the position. If we come back to Marrakech I will definitely return in this riad I would recommend it to all friends and relatives

the Riad has a top location in the Medina - everything is in walking distance, even the main bus terminal. Momo (staff) is very friendly and helpful! the rooms are typical Moroccan incl a tadelact-shower. a shady terrace to have your breakfast (6€ extra - worth it) or linger around.

I had an unforgettable stay at Riad Lumières du Sud. While my trip didn’t start off perfectly (I lost the key on the first day during a desert excursion), the owner was incredibly understanding and kind. Despite the initial hiccup, his hospitality made all the difference. The riad itself is beautiful, with rooms decorated in traditional Moroccan style, full of charm and character. The owner even went out of his way to do our laundry — drying and folding it for us! His kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. This riad isn’t just a place to stay, but a place where you feel genuinely cared for. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming escape in Marrakech.

Lovely quiet place in the middle of nowhere. A small oasis from the buzzeling streets

Its not easy to find ...even after 3 days i went wrong... but i guess thats the charm as well

I had a great night here, spent in the India inspired room. The owner - Marc - was super helpful and friendly, really appreciate all his help and kindness!
