Luxury Shepherd Hut in the Peak District

The hut was clean well equipped and warm . Quiet location but close to loads of places to walk and 10 mins from Bakewell. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. We enjoyed our stay and hope to go again

Everything exceeded my expectations, considering this was the first trip away with my dog, Nicola went above and beyond. She kept us informed, gave us hints and ideas of where to go and what was close by. She checked in, left little treats for my dog and the Hut was perfect. It was clean, spacious and had everything you need. It was in a great location with lots of walks near by!

I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Everything was perfect. The shepherd’s hut is lovely and cosy and the view is amazing. Nicky prepared everything perfectly and it was so clean and warm. One of my favourite bits about it was the log burner we really enjoyed making a fire. We definitely are looking at coming back sometime this year; we didn’t want to leave. Well worth the money too! Thank you Nicky for a lovely experience.

A gorgeous place, fabulously decorated and with great facilities. They had thought of everything, even down to providing towels for muddy dog paws! Bed was comfy, kitchen had everything you needed and the shower was lovely and hot. Great communication throughout from the owner. We would highly recommend a stay here and we would love to come back to stay again.

The host Nicky was very helpful. Offering lots of information and showed a very caring attitude wanting to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend break. Sadly couldn't affect the weather though.

The location was stunning and very peaceful, Nicky was very attentive and helpful, cosy hut, all round a great stay.

It was a beautiful cosy hut, had everything included aswell as milk and condiments.

Lots of little touches that made it enjoyable. Fresh milk, treats, towels, toiletries.

Everything the location is perfect, it’s so beautiful , peaceful and tranquil. The personal touches of the owner’s are outstanding, the hut is absolutely beautiful everything is so carefully thought out to such an high standard it’s so Dog friendly it’s amazing. Our dog Dougie absolutely loved it Nicky is an amazing host she is so friendly and really goes the extra mile. We can’t wait to return, very highly recommend.
