Luxury Shepherd Hut in the Peak District

Nicky has thought of everything. The attention to detail is fantastic. It’s a cozy hut to stay in whether you want it as a base for walking and exploring or as a place to retreat to for some R&R.

Perfect location and an amazing outdoor space for the dogs to run around in The location was perfect with walks and scenic views only a few minutes down the road The hosts were lovely and the dogs were treated to some tasty snacks, which kept them busy in the evening. I got regular messages to make me feel like I was being well looked after aswell The accommodation was luxurious. I had everything I could think of and more. The little touches made the stay more relaxing It was a shame I didn’t book more nights, as I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a few nights away in the peaks Definitely will be returning next year

A really lovely place to stay. Great location, so quiet and peaceful but easy to get places too. Perfect little set up!

Beautiful hut in a lovely quiet location. The indoor fire place and outdoor fire pit were great as were the facilities inside the hut (e.g. great shower, kitchen, bed etc).

The hut was exceptionally clean. Nice and cozy! Included some nice personalised touches. Has everything necessary to cook. The huts have a stunning view. Very dog friendly, with treats, toys and bowls included. Nicky was an amazing host, friendly and caring. Always went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed! Millie (our dog) made a new friend, Freddie (Nicky’s dog) during our stay! Lots of play time. We look forward to go back.

Everything it was perfect

Lovely property the huts were very cosy clean and had everything you might need for self catering. Location was perfect very close to local pubs and only a short drive to the national park we had a lovely time and so did our fur baby with loads of goodies our host surprised us with and plenty of space to run freely

The only one thing i would mention was that although there was plenty of space where our dog could’ve run freely without running for the hills the grass was very tall with loads of grass seed growing which is quite dangerous for boxers as they get those stuck in their eyes only the narrow trails had the grass cut and around the huts just a shame the whole garden was not the same so we can play fetch and let the dog zooming freely

Fabulous host! The moment I confirmed the accommodation Nicky was exceptional giving advice and letting me know important information about the area. She also left some nice treats as a a welcome - a great personal touch. I was unfortunately sick for the duration of the stay, and Nicky made sure she checked in on me which I appreciated.

We had the most amazing stay in the shepherd’s hut to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Everything was spot on from start to finish. The hut itself was beautifully done and had everything we needed, but it was the little thoughtful touches that really made it feel special and luxurious. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming and always on hand if we needed anything, while still giving us plenty of privacy. The setting was peaceful and relaxing and it was the perfect place for a special getaway. We had such a lovely time and would 100% recommend this stay – we’d love to come back.
