Couldn't access building using intercom people coming out let us in.. .no sheet duvet cover or pillowcase provided for the sofa bed bedding and shower wasn't very hot

I hired the apartment rather than booking a hotel room as it was advertised as having a washing machine. When I arrived there were no washing machine pods or powder, no dishwasher tablets or powder and there was no tea towel or oven mitts. This is not standard in other apartments I have hired. In fact all those things are normally supplied. I went out to purchase washing pods, came back and set the washing machine going and then went out again. When I returned there was water all over the floor due to a major blockage in the kitchen sink to which the washing machine outlet was connected. I rang lettings immediately and they sent a man over and he managed to unlock the washing machine and retrieve my sopping wet clothes and he then went out and returned with some product that he put down the sink but it needed several hours to work its way through the pipes. I do not know whether the product worked as I could not use the kitchen sink and didn't try it out before I left. The nice maintenance man also purchased a couple of drying racks so I could try and dry my clothes. How the cleaners did not pick up on the blockage goodness knows but I ended up being the patsy and instead of a nice relaxing evening with clean dry clothes I was on the end of a mop and bucket being the cleaning lady. Nobody in lettings contacted me to offer a move to another apartment or to see if there was anything they could do so following my stay I emailed the letting agency danhamzltd.co.uk explaining what had occurred and asked if they would consider refunding me a portion of the rental. They have failed to respond. Given the lack of response and what I regard as a clear lack of maintenance at the Leeds Apartment I would be very hesitant to book any residence that this letting agency manages.

The apartment was filthy there was hair everywhere, there was a hoover in the apartment however it didn't work. The access to obtaij the keys wasn't working, somebody who was staying on the same floor had to let me in.

The hosts were very accommodating with our arrival time, as we were delayed.

The freezer needs defrosting, as could open one of the drawers due to the extensive iced doors.

Clean and modern design. I would live there. Will use it again.
