Kinta Kan Cabañas Hotel Playa del Carmen

Location is excellent, close to the ferries that go to Cozumel. I appreciate the low key vibe of the hotel and the accessibility there is to the beach and pool. It is a great value for being beach front and smack in the center of Playa, close to shopping and delicious restaurants. I meant to only stay there a couple of nights but ended up extending my stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful.

No cable TV to unwind at night, only YT and NF. Water pressure in shower was weak and the bathroom sink leaked water. The rooms (I stayed in two different ones) could use some hooks as there isn't a place to hang your clothes after being in the water. Despite these minor details, if you are not high maintenance and are looking for a comfortable place on the beach for great value, this is the place.

The location was great, just off the beach with direct access to the beach.

Breakfast was not good and no tea was available. The waiters were unpleasant.

Beachfront and close to 5th avenue shopping

The room we got was in the older section. Smelled moldy and humid. Bathroom worn down.

Nothing about this property was enjoyable.

Booked ocean view room. Room nothing like photos. Curtains would not close. Bug casings and hairs on the bed and sheets. Offered a pool side room instead which was all that was available. Rat traps outside each room. Awake during the night hearing the rats in the wall. Horrendous experience. Left after one night. Hotel refused refund.

Beach and location is perfect

Rooms with side seview are quite different, could be easily improved e. G. By installing some wooden boards for cloths, Internet works good at the beach, but not in all rooms, were not able to fix it within 1 week, breakfast no choice only eggs and juice, serving often took quite some time
