Cozy Retreat near Hollingworth Lake | Milnrow, Rochdale

I booked the hotel to be told after I arrived I had to pay and extra £100 in case of breakages I asked if I could enter the property as I was in the rain to be able to do this I was told no I had no details sent to me were I was sending the deposit even though they took a payment of £90 first I waited around for 1 hr waiting for a phone call so I rang them back and they said to cancel it to get my money back this was on the 9th of September it’s not the 19th they are ignoring all contact from booking.com and stopped replying to me they stating they’d a £65 charge which I should not have to pay as it was there fault but even if that’s the case they still have not sent me the rest I think this is a massive red flag

I would never return again I went up the road to travel lodge who welcomed me with open arms

It was completely trashed, all walks smashed, lightbulb smashed and I touched my head on it an it was live,stains everywhere, smashed floor tiles,and a we phoned them immediately and they wanted a video call to prove it,as if the cleaner didn't see any of it,and a week on I still haven't had my deposit back, so looks like they leave it like that to say you've done it and not refunded your deposit, an absolute disgrace

It wasn’t nothing like the photos it’s wasn’t clean it was disgusting the surf warm look and the bedroom or pen on the walls radiator off the wall. Bathroom was full of mould around the bath no bin bag in the bin no remote for the TV.
