Camp Almanor at Big Springs

Easy to find and not too far from our destination Lassen Natl Park.

Very small for three adults. Due to its size, not practical distribution of furniture -lack of ergonomics, incomplete bathroom- no sink and mirror. Noisy air conditioning, half of the cabin warm half cold. One window is not enough to get air in and out at sleeping time.

Very clean! Love the location in the woods near the lake. Everything we needed in the cabin.

A little farther from Lassen than we thought. Bed a little small.

The staff/owner was VERY helpful before and during our stay. All questions were answered promptly and courteously. The location in the trees is beautiful, and our #13 studio cabin deck had a partial view of the lake (no access). Lovely deck with BBQ setup. Small kitchen area with refrigerator was workable; the little freezer section did keep iced items frozen.

The studio is truly a small place. One full bed, one set of bunk beds, so it would be tight with more than 1-2 adults. The kitchen sink is the bathroom sink also, so we needed to work around each other for toiletries. Our cabin had a note that short showers were necessary, and the hot water might need to heat up between showers. We didn't put it to the test!

Adorable petite cabine- idéale pour deux- décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Avec une terrasse en extérieur où savourer apéritif ou barbecue dans un endroit calme avec i e jolie vue sur le lac. Suzanne la manager est vraiment très agréable buen organisée et très à l'écoute de ses hôtes et pleine de bons conseils. Je recommande chaudement !!!

The private bathroom and shower were great! The location was perfect to see the local forests and the National Park in the area! Staff were helpful with directions!

My husband did not find the bed to be very comfortable but I did. I however Did not like that there was a mouse in our cabin. We saw it quite a few times and it grossed me out!
