Camp Almanor at Big Springs

Freshly renovated cabin with everything you need (even a gas grill on the porch) and great location close to the lake. Would definitely come again!

The location is great, close to Lassen and at a nice lake

Patty and the staff were great, the cabin was very clean and well stocked.

We were moved at the last minute to another cabin which didn't have a view of the lake as advertised. Since we paid more (in our minds) for a lake view and were forced to take something different, I don't think we should have paid for it.

The cabin was cute and clean. It is a bring your own food camp.

Need better information on hiking opportunities.

It was very clean and the cabin had everything you would need, soft sheets, nice towels, fully stocked kitchen, grill. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable. The camp hostess Patty was super friendly and helpful. Check in process, totally easy and well thought out a great peaceful retreat.

it could only be better if it had direct lake access too.

The beds were decent and the heat was extremely loud

The location was awesome! My cabin was adorable, clean and comfy with lots of extras inside. The table and chairs outside provided the perfect work place! I loved the crew and will definitely be back =)
