Over The Bridge Guest House

Started with great communication once booking made. Pre-visit call to ensure we knew where to go & best places to park. Plenty of space, a very warm welcome, great food & everything you need from a B&B (plus more too).

Trevor called me a couple of days before we were due to arrive with advice on parking. He also allowed us to check in a little early as we were attending a funeral, which allowed us to change in the room before attending the funeral. He was very welcoming when we arrived and gave us a breakfast form to fill in for the following morning. The room was large and comfortable and we slept well. For breakfast, we had the muesli, yogurt and continental breakfast. Trevor was attentive and made breakfast a pleasant experience with his friendly banter and filling us in on the history of his beautiful home in this lovely location. When we visit Ripponden again will definitely be staying at the Over The Bridge guesthouse.

My room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. My hosts were very helpful and friendly. There are places to eat within walking distance. Ripponden is well placed to explore this part of Yorkshire. All in all a very good place to stay.

Amazingly beautiful, comfortable and lavish facilities including breakfast. The hosts are welcoming making one feel like family. Plus the personal recommendations of what to do and see made our trip one of the best yet!

There is not one thing we would ask to change other than needing one more day there.

Every minute we spent there, from the very start we were made to feel very welcome, Trevor our host was really helpful and really was interested in how are day was what our plans were etc. My favorite part was the breakfast a yorkshire tubby if you want to know what it is visit this amazing hidden gem of a B&B worth every penny

Can't think of anything we didn't like about the place at all would go there again and again in fact we will be doing.

Gorgeous traditional building, very spacious and very clean. Staff were awesome and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was top service!
